Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-09-05T15:36Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-09-05T15:36:00-CME-001 (version 3)
Source Location: S12W68
Active Region Number: 14520
Note Keyword:
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
Ha: Bright emission (likely H-alpha emission)
HAL: Halo CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
SEP: Solar Energetic Particle event
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
DIM: Dimming
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Bright CME observed to the SW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1, and as a full halo in STEREO A COR2. The source is associated with an M1.0 flare from AR 14520 peaking at 2026-09-05T15:18Z, observed in SDO AIA 131. The eruption is additionally observed as field line movement, wide EUV wave, dimming, filament ejecta, and post-eruptive arcade/brightening in SDO AIA 171/193/211/304 starting at 2026-09-06T15:04Z. Observed in STEREO A EUVI 304 as brightening at 2026-09-05T15:15Z and STEREO A EUVI 195 as dimming at 2026-09-05T15:55Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |
